We are delighted that students can now occupy their new residences at Newman University, Birmingham.
After a fantastic effort and a lot of hard work from the professional and contractor teams in getting the new student accommodation completed, the new Newman University residence is ready to receive their first student intake.
Phase 1 of the University’s residences masterplan is now complete, with 108 new student bedrooms within clusters.
Tandem Projects managed the design, procurement and construction of this superb development, which was completed along with the parallel project to provide a further 1000 m2 of teaching and learning accommodation.
In addition, outline planning permission was secured for a further 2 phases of student residences, which will be undertaken in future years, as the University continues to develop.
The University are delighted with the high standards achieved within the accommodation, which will greatly assist their ability to attract students to the University.
